The green necklace...

J. has a green clover necklace. He won it from the prize cart at Dr. Curry's office last spring. He wears it ALL the time. On Saturday, when Daddy was leaving for Utah, J. gave him his green necklace. He told him to "take it with you and bring it back to me when you get home". It was really sweet and somehow seemed like his 4 year old way of saying, "Please be safe and come back home to us very soon". It was a sweet moment. Well, about 15 minutes after Daddy was gone, J. was regretting his decision. He REEEEEEEALLY wants his necklace back. He has asked about his green necklace at least 5 times a day. Where is my green necklace? Can Daddy bring it back? Can we go get my green necklace from Daddy's special trip? etc. etc.

Daddy--here are a few notes from Mommy:
1. Handle the green necklace with GREAT care.
2. Do not wear the green necklace in public. (You may attract thieves who are looking for the perfect accessory)
3. Do not misplace, destroy or alter the green necklace.
4. Store the green necklace in a very secure place...preferably your room safe.
5. If anything happens to the green necklace, DO NOT COME HOME WITHOUT A REPLACEMENT!
