I missed a day. Sorry. Less than 24 hours until we leave. 6,247 things left to do. The Chief is cool, calm, collected and confident in God's plan for our family. I am excited to meet MeiMei but so so SOOO sad to leave Wild Man and Little Miss (I'm sure The Chief is as well but he has his game face on for my benefit). We have to board those planes tomorrow no matter what...even if we are willing one foot in front of the other. That probably means he will be willing MY feet forward but that's beside the point. Pray for us. Gotta run.

I'm a lurker... I've loved following your family's story, but never had much to contribute other than silent prayers. Wishing you Godspeed as you make this most amazing journey. Enjoy China, but even more, enjoy every moment of the 'newborn stages' of your paper pregnancy.
Praying for a safe and easy trip! I can't imagine leaving Peanut behind, but I know God will give you the grace to handle the separation. Honestly, our Peanut stayed in a separate room with his Nana, which was like having the best of both worlds. You'll be glad, in a way, to be able to give all of your attention to your newest addition. I know our Maia needed a LOT of TLC in China, and caring for her was a full-time job!
My prayers are with your family both her in the US and China. Your moment has finally arrived to shine as the best mommy ou've ever dreamed of being! God's speed.
