Now I know you're thinking--WHO CARES?? You return to blogging to tell us you found a lid? It's just a lid...
but hold on a second...it's not THAT kind of lid. As you know our dossier went to China on 1-2-09. Once it arrived in Nanjing it was translated and then submitted to CCAA (China Center for Adoption Affairs) in Beijing. When the dossier is entered into the CCAA system they issue a log-in-date (LID). It is basically confirmation that the CCAA has received the dossier and officially know you are petitioning for one of their children. We have been anxiously waiting to hear our date over the past two months. Look what I just found in my Inbox...

It is now officially official. China knows who we are--four little Wombles on the other side of the planet waiting to find our daughter and sister. I find it a bit ironic that less than 24 hrs after I had my little "breakdown" about the current state of our adoption, a little bit of hope shows up in the form of an email. Today I'm thankful for the little things that gently remind me He's got it all under control.HALLELUJAH!!! WE HAVE A LID!!!

I had my breakdown last fri and then TA came on Wed. I think a good cleansing breakdown is what everyone needs right before good news....that way you can be really open to receive it.
WOW... that is WONDERFUL NEWS. And what better still is that it was nearly 2 months ago and you are OFFICALLY 2 months closer!

WaaaHOO! Great news! I'm glad you've been given a few "crumbs" to keep you going these past couple weeks. It makes it a LITTLE eaisier to wait if small things happen along the way.......maybe someone should clue my agency in to that :)
